About 9years ago, I was cruising online when I found obeygiant website.
At that time I was just starting Untho propaganda, going out to paste handmade "Untho is never tired" stickers and/or to spray Untho stencils. My biggest format was A4.
Can you imagine my surprise when I saw the pictures of massive 1,5 meters base Obey posters pasted in the most incredible/visible walls?
I was shocked, I saw a direction to express myself cleary marked by somebody else I started immediatly to search info about Obey Campaign while xeroxing/pasting bigger posters.
The first time I flew to Los Angeles, I met the man behind Obey: Shepard Fairey.
One year later, I went back to interview him for my thesis: "The stickers as medium and its influence in the urban space" and in 2004 I did an intership at his visual design agency " Black Market", now
StudioNumberOne.
Shepard Fairey and
Obey Campaign has been a big reference point for me and for my artworks,
I'm very proud to present our first collaborative tshirt!
